WordCamp will be a day packed full of WordPress goodness, giving attendees the opportunity to meet and rub shoulders with our amazing Speakers, Sponsors and each other. All this networking can be thirsty work and can definitely not be done on an empty stomach.
Catering
The event will be catered by the Atlantic Imbizo crew to ensure that attendees don’t run out of fuel during the day.
The menu and pit-stop times:
- Registration 08:00 – 09:00 am – Tea/Coffee
- Mid morning break 11:00 -11:30 am – Tea/Coffee/Muffins & Scones with condiments
- Lunch 12:30 – 13:30 pm – Finger Fork Luncheon (all catering is completely and only Halaal)
- We will serve Beef & Vegetarian Lasagna, Salad, Melange of Vegetables, Garlic Rolls & Dessert of the day.
- Mid afternoon break 15:00 – 15:30 pm – Tea/Coffee and Home made Biscuits
The WordCamp After Party
After a hard day’s work soaking up the conference atmosphere, join us and continue your networking and contact building at the official After Party, from 18:00 pm until late on Thursday 15 September. The After Party will be hosted at the same venue as the conference, the Atlantic Imbizo, on the Cape Town Waterfront.
There will be free cocktails at the start of the party, and a cash bar by the Atlantic Imbizo serving beers, spirits and wines. Thunda.com will also be there to take snaps of the party.
LightSpeed’s own in house Dj’s will provide background tunes, laying down some minimal techno beats to keep us all grooving along until the end of the evening.
I think the after-party is going to be a much-needed letting down of hair after the build-up to the conference this week! Much excitement indeed 🙂
