The WREN design’ is range of bags inspired by the possibility of materials and their stories.
The brand started out of a want for a bag that had a story, was beautiful and was not mass-produced. The need was for a bag that was simple and practical. Wendren – the founder, could not find a bag that met both her want and need and so after a year or so of searching, ‘The WREN design‘ was born in 2008.

‘the WREN design’ manufactures bags out of re-purposed fabrics and materials.

I use WordPress for my business website as I find it the best platform for me to host your online presence.
Why did you decide to get involved and sponsor WordCamp Cape Town 2011?
Lightspeed manages my blog and I think WordCamp is a fantastic place for people to come together around WordPress.
What are your thoughts on the WordPress community as a whole? And the South African WP community?
WordPress has a fantastic community both internationally and locally. The support (both paid and free) is better than almost any service out there.

What is the most exciting improvement to WordPress that you have noticed in the last year?
I am very excited about the E commerce options available on WordPress
Where do you see WordPress 2 years from now?
I would like to see the local community grow… and I think it will.
