Tell us a bit about your business. How do you use WordPress?<\/h3>\n

We use WordPress to power our premium themes and build customized themes for larger media portals. We also maintain a policy “you don’t pay until you’re satisfied with the outcome”, so customers know we won’t screw them.<\/p>\n

Why WordPress?<\/h3>\n

It’s simply the most flexible and stable CMS platform, with very well documented code.<\/p>\n

What are your thoughts on the WordPress community as a whole? And the South African WP community?<\/h3>\n

The WordPress community is no different from other Open Source communities, but is very large, so finding answers for your WP problem is not so hard.<\/p>\n

Who in the WordPress community inspires you? Who do you follow?<\/h3>\n

There are a lot of people who inspire me, but I’d definitely single out Matt Mullenweg, who puts a lot of effort into keeping WordPress independent.<\/p>\n

What is the most exciting improvement to WordPress that you have noticed in the last year?<\/h3>\n

Definitely custom post types.<\/p>\n

Where do you see WordPress 2 years from now?<\/h3>\n

Becoming a full-blown CMS system, with better custom post types control, updated media library management and better support for automatic updates of external themes & plugins.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
