Thanks to WordCamp Central & CodePoet!

The WordCamp Central team have been a great help. Special thanks to Andrea Middleton who helped to connect us with possible international speakers and arranged a sponsorship last year through JetPack plugin by Automattic and this year a generous sponsorship from CodePoet.

Thanks to Crystal from WordCamp Central for arranging some WordPress buttons and thanks to Rebecca at CodePoet for sending us stickers / Tshirts to hand out to campers.

CodePoet relaunched a few months ago. The new CodePoet site offers free ebooks, interviews with WordPress professionals, and a collection of resources the team has curated that they think other Code Poets would find useful. There is also a WordPress professional directory for builders, not just developers. If you are interested in getting your WordPress company listed then take a look here.

The WordCamp Central website is a great place to find out about WordCamp events around the world. Take a look to see when and where the next upcoming WordCamp events are, you might be lucky to be traveling in an area near one of the next events.

The WordCamp planing website has been a very useful resource for me. I have found tips and tricks that WordCamp organisers have learnt over the past few years, everything from planning before the event, during the actual event and things to do after it’s over.

Lastly I am excited to announce we now have a snazzy page for the WordCamp CT event on WordCamp Central website. I feel the page looks great with the branded banner and thumbnail of our new website!
