Why did you decide to get involved and sponsor WordCamp Cape Town 2012?<\/h2>\n

Given our history and passion for hosting WordPress websites, everything from small personal blogs to media companies publishing content on a large scale, it\u2019s something close to our heart and our business, plus it\u2019s part of a Global WordPress community…why would we NOT want to be involved? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

What are your thoughts on the WordPress community as a whole? And the South African WP community?<\/h2>\n

We\u2019ve got some great, innovative guys down here, doing everything from creating amazing themes (Woothemes<\/a> and Obox<\/a>) to building functionality rich sites within WordPress. Even a WordPress plugin for MXit<\/a> has recently been launched.<\/p>\n

What are you most looking forward to at WordCamp Cape Town?<\/h2>\n

I\u2019m looking forward to the diversity in the speakers and meeting new interesting people within the community!<\/p>\n

Ensure you cache and use a host that has a good understanding of WordPress.<\/p>\n

Do you make money from wordpress?<\/h2>\n

Yes, through hosting wordpress sites for customers and delivering by using RSAWEB\u2019s AfriCDN<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Is WordPress an effective platform for getting your message across?<\/h2>\n

Yes, absolutely, it\u2019s all about utilising WordPress fully (and not running too many questionable WordPress plugins.)<\/p>\n

Where do you feel you can make a difference at WordCamp and why?<\/h2>\n

Given our history of using, and hosting WordPress sites, we feel that we\u2019ve got a lot of information to share…<\/p>\n

Are you going to be giving any Swag away at the event, what sort of goodies can the attendees expect?<\/h2>\n

We\u2019ll be giving away water, notepads, pens and chocolate (who doesn\u2019t love choccy?) We might even give out a bit of free CDN if we\u2019re asked nicely.<\/p>\n

Last year your team provided an excellent internet service to the event, this year RSAWEB will again be providing WordCamp with Internet. Please could you describe what internet connection will be and how the setup will work?<\/h2>\n
