WordCamps are informal and follow a <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.capetown.wordcamp.org\/schedule\/\">general structure<\/a>, along the lines of:&nbsp;<ul><li>Registration<\/li><li>Opening remarks&nbsp;<\/li><li>Morning sessions&nbsp;<\/li><li>Lunch&nbsp;<\/li><li>Afternoon sessions&nbsp;<\/li><li>Closing remarks&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Roll with it:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.capetown.wordcamp.org\/files\/2019\/09\/WordCamp-Agenda-Final-v1-.pdf\">download the detailed schedule<\/a> onto your phone, pick out the sessions that interest you most, create a personal itinerary and roll with it<\/li><li><strong>WordCamp is for everyone:<\/strong> many different people attend WordCamp who work with WordPress in a variety of ways, check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.capetown.wordcamp.org\/attendees\/\">list of attendee\u2019s<\/a> who you may want to make contact with and introduce yourself when you see them at WordCamp<\/li><li><strong>Don\u2019t be shy: <\/strong>WordCamps are <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.capetown.wordcamp.org\/code-of-conduct\/\">safe environments<\/a> to network and learn, so take advantage, introduce yourself to speakers and ask questions&nbsp;&#8211; there are no stupid questions<\/li><li><strong>Keep it casual:<\/strong> WordCamps are casual events, you will learn a lot in two days and the last thing you want is to be distracted because you are uncomfortable, wear something that you will be comfy in<\/li><li><strong>Take advantage of the lunch break: <\/strong>don\u2019t sit alone at lunch, find an open space and ask if you can sit down, you never know who you will meet<\/li><li><strong>Have fun: <\/strong>the point of WordCamp is to learn, engage with others and take part in the larger WordPress community, so enjoy it!&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2019.capetown.wordcamp.org\/tickets\/\">Join us<\/a> at WordCamp Cape Town 2019!
