Bruce Lunnis

I’m a 20-something community manager & self-made IT entrepreneur who lives, works, & plays in Cape Town, South Africa. I’m a lover of parrots, cars, food, wine, whiskey, coffee, sunsets, music, movies, traveling, WordPress & entrepreneurship.

Mechiel Couvaras

I work on the Partners team at WooCommerce but have a background in Web Hosting. I first discovered WordPress in 2009 and have been tinkering ever since. I love Open Source and love how WordPress makes powerful technology available to ordinary people like me.
Roslyn Lavery

With a dual background in finance and software, and a love for innovation, payments, and investment, I comfortably navigate the intersection between business and technology. I am analytically minded, have a drive for efficiency and thrive on challenging the status quo.

I have a decade of experience managing diverse and changing roles at startup companies in finance, technology, web, and e-commerce, and ran my own agency for a number of years.

Jonathan Bossenger

I’m one of the co-organisers of the WordPress Cape Town Meetup, lead developer at Castos & Seriously Simple Podcasting, and I’m an expert at Codeable. When I’m not writing code, you can find me spending time with my children, training Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, and helping others in my local WordPress community.
Kim Gush

A multi-talented creator having worked across the board as fashion, event and showroom management, warehouse logistics and design room management. With a passion for people and getting things done, I am eagerly exploring and actively learning about e-commerce, whilst pursuing work in nose-to-tail events.

Jessica Hannah

I originally studied journalism and worked as a writer for engineering, mining, and automotive magazines, as well as internal business communications. Wanting to become more involved in the tech industry I applied and got a job at Semantica Digital where I am now an enthusiastic social media strategist, aspiring search engine optimization guru, and a seasoned copywriter. I am passionate about learning and sharing knowledge.

Dirk Tolken

I’m co-founder & CMO at Semantica Digital, a Cape Town based agency that specialises in WordPress/WooCommerce development, software integrations & online marketing. When I’m not tinkering with WordPress or WooCommerce I enjoy longboard surfing at any of the many local breaks in Cape Town.

Femi

I’m a web developer, originally from Nigeria but living in South Africa, working as a Technical Support Engineer at Paid Memberships Pro. I also try to invest in the youth by introducing them to web development in order to diversify the field. I prefer Tabs to Spaces.
